Team Incomplete started with a couple of guys that had the desire to race but not the knowledge or means. The circle of friends grew and finally Gregor took the plunge and bought an old RD350 and got a race license. By next season we had become a rag tag team of three: Gregor, Todd and Chris. The team has grown, gotten faster and far more serious. Above is the TI skunkworks where we build and maintain a fleet of 7 race bikes. While the core of the team rides Honda RS125 GP bikes there are two "Singles" projects - a Tigcraft/YZ426 and Chris' custom framed Rotax. There is also Sasha's "Colorado Division" SV650 and Todd's vintage Ducati 250. In addition Team Incomplete has become home to a thriving vintage division which is tackling the 2005 Wera and AHRMA series' and which we hope to bring some more details of soon. The biggest story of the 2005 season is Chris's retirement as a rider and beginning as a team owner. Having built and developed a bike that outstripped his ability it was time set the priorities and he chose Todd as his rider to tackle the FUSA Thunderbike series. While there are other series that a single can fit in the FUSA series is the most prestigious and hotly contested with factory Buells and very seriously modified SV650s - in other words jumping in the deep end. So for this season we're going to concentrate on covering Team Incompletes first professional effort into racing with race reports by Todd and Chris on what it's like to build your own bike, develop it and hopefully score a win. It's a huge challenge but it's the kind we love.
