![]() | The TI Boxer Of course there's the boxer whose story is documented on this site here but there are other projects as well and they're coming along shortly. As they make their way onto the site this page will point you along. The boxer has it's original story here but '04 will be the year we do the engine and hopefully in time to make it to the Airhead Invitational - the one race where the bike will be at home. Chris Hodgson of San Jose BMW is helping us out with parts and advice to bring the engine up to 90rwhp which should be achievable and sufficient and more than a little fun. As we get more into the engine we'll start a "Part 2" of the boxer story and teach you how to go about doing some hotrodding to an airhead.
The Norton Racer This is Kenny's baby - the effort of years and more money than is right but it doesn't matter because it now runs. You can't put a price on that. Well, you could but it's best not to. As leader of Team Incompletes "vintage Division" it's only fitting that the bike be a remarkable and beautiful machine - without question this is one of the nicest bikes in the padock. Finally Kenny has put up some pages dedicated to this fine piece. Check out The Evolution of a Norton Racer. | ![]()

The bike formally known as the Rotacular Chris is convinced that when we named his bike the Rotacular we doomed it but really that was just coincidental. It might have been taking the TI mantra of completing a bike the night before (or day of) a race a bit too far: say troubling shooting an ignition problem at 1am at a Daytona motel? That project taught Chris a great deal - about building, welding, designing and crafting a racing motorcycle. This, version two, is frame up different. Smaller and more compact and eminately more detailed. I'm putting up some pages on this bike but I'll have to get Chris to write something. You may notice that my bikes have stories but it's like pulling teeth to get others to write stuff - BUT Chris has finally put up some more information on his own site. The Tigcraft Minimono R.5 This bike is a project in the sense that it combines several bikes and "some assembly is required" but it's not the brainchild that Chris' Rotax is. The frame came from Tigcraft's Dave Pearce in England along with the gas and oil tanks. The running gear - the forks and swingarm, subframe and all the small parts like clipons and rearsets came from Gregor's 96 Honda RS125 while the engine is from a 2000 Yamaha YZ426. The concept is to combine the perfect handling and corner speed of a 125 with the tractable power of a modern 4 stroke dirt bike engine. It works. | ![]()
