Who's Incomplete...

Meade A. Breese

Sailmaker

Meade has been a lifelong friend of Robert and a motorcyclist just as long but one seems much longer. Meade has had many bikes over the years but has always come back to BMW's - much like most of the crew. Perhaps one of our favorite stories of motorcycle touring is the time Robert and Meade were traveling on an old BSA and looking for a place to camp well after dark. Finally finding a decent field off the road they set up the tent and fell asleep. The next morning they emerged from the tent to find they had camped in the front yard of an old house and the whole family had gathered on the porch to watch the strange motorcyclists.

Camp site location skills have improved since then and Meade and his wife Cheryl make at least one good long tour a year, usually in the fall when the sail making business gets a little slower, to a different and far away location. They even witnessed the pathetic inception of the TI race effort nearly 6 years ago at Reobling Road.

Current bikes: 1955 R50/2 with Steib TR500 sidecare, 1979 R100S, 1990 R100GSPD and the next sidecar project, a 1983 R80RT.
